I probably need to order floor mats tonight and at least price out a set of OME shocks and stock height springs. Not sure what number that is.

Yup. That cover the entire bottom like we talked about in Moab. The 3rd gen frame proved to be problematic though so had to make some adjustments to the plates

A friend and I are coming up over Labor Day from Nebraska to do a few nights camping. Any recommendations on places to visit on the front range? I've gone up to the ghost town before Argentine Pass but haven't actually done the trail itself, so I was thinking maybe that. Also was interested in Mosquito Pass, but judging from what I could find online it's not passable right now. He also has a stock Tacoma.

With the plates hitting some bolts and other stuff sticking out of the driver's side frame. Also the way the cab mount is boxed with leading to an uneven surface to weld to as well

As of last weekend the Leadville side of Mosquito Pass still had 13ft of snowpack. Not sure if its going to open at all this year.

I have a set of nearly new oem Gen3 TRDOR Bilstein fronts with oem coils (no top hats) if you want a cheap setup for the front - 12pack of beer. Should provide 1" lift over Gen 2 suspension.

In addition to asking here on TW, you might try checking out a couple Facebook groups:

CORE (Colorado Off Road Enterprise) @keeptrailsopen (their website: https://www.keeptrailsopen.com/)

and CORE puts out regular updates about what trails are open. They are a volunteer group that has adopted 12 trails in central Colorado (near Buena Vista). I am unsure if their reports include the status of ALL Colorado trails, so I think the 2nd FB group would be good to check out as well.

    HTH.

    Enjoy colorful Colorado!

Argentine has good views from 2 high spots and a pretty intact Mill if they have finally completed the soil mitigation. You can then continue over Guanella Pass to Red Cone area where we ran into to you last year but not sure how much of that will be opened up this year, still have a pile of snow on Webster Pass closing stuff down.

Last year I didn't know if I was on Argentine itself but after watching a youtube video I think I was. I turned around at the first "big" view where you can see the creek on the other size of the mountain (and a descending road, perhaps Guanella?). The Mill.. is that Santiago Mine with the railcart tracks?

lol! That is hilarious because I actually pumped up the tires to about 15 psi on my baby fats just before the ride. I think most guys run them at 8 psi.

Today I changed the oil, used the new Rotella 5w-30 full synthetic and a Toyota filter. Replaced the air filter with a Purolator. Filled up at Costco. So far driving it is a chore since the suspension is shot. I also need a new driver side mirror.

Best price on 6112/5160s? Poor taco needs new shocks yesterday pronto. I’m going to get an appointment for the leaf springs ASAP, everything checks out for the recall.
