All highway miles...

 

We are talking about Toyota's here right? 175k is just broken in.

 

When I was looking at JY motors for my truck anything under 200k was low mileage in my mind. Saw plenty that were 275K+ miles


Got lucky when I found one with 135k in a rolled truck in Commerce City. Got to hear it run and for $500 it was pulled and loaded into my truck too.

 

holy shit that is frustrating. fuck those bastards

 

No doubt, I can't imagine how hard it must be to not let loose on the phone with them

 

$6k isn't just a little fuck up, that's gotta be a lot of man hours out of your schedule too

 

Heading out to Goblin Valley State Park Wednesday Oct 16 to Monday Oct 21. Set this trip up with my brother in law before I knew the dates for Rocktober Therapy.
Going to try North Temple Wash and Temple Mine trails. Does anyone know of other trails near Goblin that are worthwhile/more challenging?

Tons of roads out there that are fun to explore. Get a couple slot canyons in too if you're into that.

You can check on Behind the Reef. Last I was there the east entrance was washed out and not passable though.

 

Also - if you want to venture a little further away Goblin Valley, Eagle Canyon is an awesome trail.


And if you really want to push it - Devil's Racetrack - Fix it Pass is a pretty good challenge.

 

Tried Spooky

and Peek-A-Boo slot canyons last year. Those were definitely fun. Should have time to try more.

Behind the Reef looks good and I will have to talk the guys into trying the trails you recommend.

I've been referring to "what cracks next" thread for my pre trip inspection. So far Winkle is crack free. I must not be driving fast enough or flying high enough yet.

I was sold until I noticed the distinct lack of matching bunny ears

 

It got a good clean up mid-Summer and has been good since as far as I know. We see up to 200 people a day up there and except for volunteers there's not much oversight. I've been doing that since '88
