Hmmm my plan was not to trim the plastic but trim the metal underneath and drill new holes for the mounts. Just push the whole thing up some. Would that not work?

by trimming the metal all around the wheel well, you're creating a longer arc and the plastic won't stretch to fit that new arc unless you cut it and add material to it. If you wanted to, you could just cut the top portion of the wheel well and move it straight up that way, but you'll have gaps at the bottom.

So who here from Colorado has done the full time locker mod on their 2nd Gen Tacoma? The reason why I ask is I want to do it to mine but am a little chicken to attempt this on my own. If anyone has done this and wouldn't mind helping me on mine, I would appreciate it and am not against paying money either.

We should get together with someone else that has. I want to do it as well - meant to get it done on mod day, but that didn't happen. I also think I got the wrong relay, make sure you get the 12/24 DPDT relay... derp.

Edit - crap, you're out in Sterling. Might not be so feasible...

For anyone that wants to help me, I don't mind traveling. If I have to go to Denver or the Springs or wherever, Colorado is a beautiful State so I know I will enjoy the drive.

    That's a great attitude .

We should do another mini-mod day for those who want to do this mod. I wouldn't mind hosting, only issue is a) I have a 1-car garage and b) I only vaguely know how to do the mod. Would feel better if someone was around that did (my buddy Travis has, he might be able to come...)

PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THIS

My room mate had his bike stolen out of our dinning room last night. Its a custom made Specialized Enduro. They don't sell this bike in this color to the general public (he worked for specialized), so if you see it on craigslist or on any bike forums, its probably his. If you think you see it/find it, contact me (520-975-2 seven two seven) or call the police.

Chances are whoever stole it will swap out some of the parts, so focus on the frame. Its a very rare color to see on that model.

I'm tired of our house getting ransacked.

3 bikes stolen and 2 cars broken into since october....

Damn, sounds like a sick guitar...

My buddy used to work in the industry, he suggested "Wedgle's Music & Loan". They're @ 11th and Broadway...

    http://www.1122broadway.com/Wedgle%27s%20Music%20&%20Loan.htm

Just saw this, sorry to hear about that. I used to live a block from CU Denver, never again. I loved being close to everything, but we were constantly being broken into. They completely ransacked the house while we were in the middle of moving everything even...

Hope your roommate gets his bike back!

I can sympathize with you. On my wedding anniversary last month, April 14th, I woke up to find that my Tacoma had been raped and vandalized and the person stole my mountain bike from my porch. I thought it was in the garage but my 16 year old went to the store the night before and left it out and forgot to put it in the garage. I live in Sterling so I doubt it will make its way up here but I will keep my eye out for it. I'm still trying to replace mine as well.

Yep. It sucks. My bike was stolen earlier this year and a month later my truck was broken into. Now some one literally came into our house and stole this bike.

Not to mention the 3 or 4 people who have been mugged within a few blocks

    Can't wait to move out.
