Anyone have recommendations for a company to move a gun safe (500+ lbs) from one location in my house to a different location in the house?

If you bought it from a store that delivered it they may offer that as a service as well for a small fee.

Take the door off. The door is probably 60% of the total weight of the safe. Then use a furniture dolly. If you have stairs to navigate, get 2 or 3 friends and try not to kill them.

My biggest problem is the door isn’t removable on my safe. Thanks Liberty! I do need to navigate stairs as well.

I've moved mine using a hand truck (dolly) and several friends. One running the hand truck and two on either side to lift and hold. I've also moved it from its location to another and back again with only the help of my wife but there were no stairs involved that time. My door is removable and is the only way it fits through a door. Is yours thin enough to fit through doors w/ the door/handle on?

I believe you and several friends could move it with a hand truck. Create a plan and go slow. Otherwise I think it's extremely costly to have some one come out and move it professionally. Like $300-$500 minimum. Hope I'm wrong but let us know.

They'd probably drop the safe and somehow break it.

The safe isn’t super deep, so it’ll fit through doors in that direction. I’ve moved the safe before (even up/down stairs) with friends, but I’d like to avoid doing it myself if the price to have it moved wasn’t too bad.

I made the mistake of helping a friend move a 500+ pound safe, we aren't friends anymore.... jk we are. But my god, that thing was a bitch and tried to kill us several times.

Any 3rd gen folk have the Slee Offroad 3rd gen ARB twin mount? Curious if where it installs in the passenger side engine bay will leave room for a second battery.

Otherwise I would have the buy the 2nd gen mount they have, and a forum members adaptor bracket for 2rd gen. Will be almost $80 more to do that.

TW member from the Mississippi Gulf Coast here looking for advice/direction... I was going to make a post but figured I'd post here first.

I'm headed to Denver this spring with some friends and I'm curious of which is the best ATV/Side x side rental place near the Denver area. I'm from the beach and have never been to the mountains and would love to take in the scenery while I'm there. Do y'all know of any places that you would recommend I rent a side x side from? Thanks!!

It mounts by the power steering reservoir but it’s not a direct bolt on for the third hens. You have to buy a separate doohickey to make it work.

The 2nd gen is he bolt on by the power steering, and there is a forum member who makes the adaptor bracket for it to work with 3rd gens.

Slee recently put out a 3rd gen one though. Goes up in the engine bay gap near the passenger side fire wall.
