Been a long time since I've used a tech deck.....maybe when I was in 4th grade? I never really got the hang of ollies and stuff, but a friend of mine was pretty good. I'm sure they've improved the product in the last 15-20 years though

I'm sure this will go over well. :facepalm:The IRS wants you to report Video Game Currencies you have so you can pay taxes on it. :quickdraw:

The agency has long reminded Americans that virtual currency is treated like property for tax purposes. When Americans buy bitcoin, for example, they need to keep track of how much they paid for it. When they sell, they need to report any appreciation in value and pay taxes on those capital gains (and can claim a loss if there were realized losses). Using bitcoin to buy goods and services, even a coffee, is still considered a sale of property and potentially a taxable event. The IRS published a landmark policy guidance in 2014 laying out the details, and another update last year.
Last fall, the IRS appeared to clarify that the same tax policy also applies to video game currencies.
"Bitcoin, Ether, Roblox, and V-bucks are a few examples of a convertible virtual currency," the IRS said on the webpage, prior to removing the language on Wednesday. The IRS did not appear to limit the types of video game currencies that may be covered under the policy.

I've been sick for weeks, flu, a cold and then fucking pinkeye. Every damn building I go in feels like a petri dish. I feel better now for the most part, but for how long???
Was at the student center of FRCC this morning, you could just feel the creeping crud floating in the air. :annoyed:
I'm about to apply alcohol orally and see if I can't kill it from the inside.

Laughable. I don't see any way they could even track this without people voluntarily disclosing it. They can go get bent trying to squeeze any more money out of middle and lower class Americans when we all pay a higher tax rate than those with 7+ figure incomes and corporations, and we get less and less of anything useful every year for that money.

Sucks man, sorry to hear that. This has been a particularly bad year for the flu and colds all around. I had days this year where a 1/3 to 1/2 of my employees were out of commission. In those instances I definitely want them to stay home and recover. Even if they wanted to they just contribute to an endless cycle of people getting each other sick.

Calling crypto currency "video game currency" is the most Boomer thing I've ever heard in my life.
Some Boomer didn't know the difference between Crypto currency and in-game currency and they corrected the mistake after proper ridicule. As far as I know you can't cash out or sell Fortnite currency so there can't be gains. I guess if they wanted to go after the CS:GO skin market or something they could, but that's ridiculous.
