What power wire is everyone tying into for their switch for additional lights?
I wired mine up to a wire thats under the switch that gave me 12 volts with Accessory on but ended up killing the auto locks. Oops!
Also do you know which fuse is for the locks? Haven't had time to troubleshoot yet but thought I would ask to make it a quicker fix.

I think I should just stay away from the electrical upgrades. Already know I suck at soldering from my experience at the last mod day.

Wow I am away for a day and all hell breaks loose on this thread.

So I ordered my Duratrac's from my cousins shop and will get them put on tomorrow. If any of you want to get a set from him his price for 285/75 R16 is $237.00 plus tax per tire. That includes install. His name is Jason and he runs the Peerless Tyre on 114th and Huron in Northglenn. Number is three0three-4five0-nine3nine3

Should have my shoes on before the trail ride Saturday.

Got my lights today too. But they sent me the wrong covers.

My cousin explains to me that sipeing will give you much more grip but will wear the tires down faster. So it kind of depends on what you want more longevity or traction.

if you're getting duratracs, they already come with a good sipe on them

main benefit comes in the winter time i believe...warmer weather and dry roads/trails here seems like it would just wear down the tire faster

I know the duratracs are already, but i was looking athe km2s again and seeing what it would cost to sipe them/if it would be worth it. that are about 150 cheaper and are a slightly taller, narrower tire

Edit: I know the KM2s suck on hardpack snow, so ill prob go with the duratracs, just weighing options

you also have to think of where you will be riding....

i got mine in january and usually am in the mtns every weekend during the winter so i knew i was going to be on snow every weekend so snow traction was high on my list...

i've hear the km2s do excellent in the dirt/rocks, but so do the tracs, but maybe not as good on rocks? idk for sure...being a softer compound they may grip damn well on rocks...we'll see this summer

i think the duratracs will be quieter on the road and possibly handle slightly better on pavement as well..

rain conditions duratracs have great ratings

I was looking at all the ratings, and thats why i went duratracs initally, just second guessing. i think ill stay with the DTs, overall a better tire for 90% of our conditions

mud conditions the km2 would take it hands down...and like jeff said, in the south km2 all the way, but tracs maybe a better candidate for our climate...but i'm a little bias toward the tracs so take my recommendations with a grain of salt i guess
