I've used Discount Tire Direct to pick up wheel and tire packages (mounted, balanced and shipped) in the past. A couple weeks ago I ordered just tires for the first time and plan to have them mounted at the local Discount Tire when my FN FX's get here.

They also price match. You can have them ship to the discount store as well.

Love the Gladiator. I'd consider moving from the Tacoma for one of them, once the bugs are worked out. That one appears to have a small lift and bigger tires, which is a good look for them.

Use a skill saw, don’t worry about buying a ferrous metal blade, just flip whatever blade you have on it around

Huh, I think I may need a baby yoda sticker now.

So who wants to explain the purpose of soft toppers to me? I've seen a couple threads recently and I don't get it. I can't even think of a good analogy to explain how little I get it, because of how little I get it.

I've learned much in the last five minutes.

    1. There are a lot of Baby Yoda stickers and I mean a lot.
    2. Most of them are shit.
    3. Baby Yoda does not have round eyes.
    4. Baby Yoda does not have blue eyes.
    5. Baby Yoda doesn't smile, how hard is it to get this right?
    6. F-it, I'm done, most of the people cashing in on Baby Yoda can't even get his damn expression right.
    7. This has ruined my day.
    8. I'm gonna start drinking now.

For me, it gives me a place to put things out of sight and out of the weather... while being able to quickly lower or remove to accommodate something too big to fit with the topper up/on. With a family of four, it gives me a place to put things that I may otherwise put in the back seat.

Softoppers are hail-proof (check out the company truck in CO), they weigh 35 lbs so are easily removable (no hoist or jacks), they fold for temporary large load carry, they work great for covered camping, they protect bed contents from weather (driving or parked), they cost less than hard tops, etc., etc., etc.

Easy to remove makes a ton of sense. Cost effectiveness as well. I'm somewhat anti-topper so I think that was clouding my judgement! Thanks for clearing that up.

    soft-topper and more coming

Its great for camping in, keeping the dogs in there and easy to take out or fold down to throw the dirt scooters in.
I am a big fan of the soft topper and they stand by the product.

Not with the thin metals like he is cutting, I wouldn’t use the trick on 1/8” or anything like that. Just the thin sheets
