I had some clip in wood tile in the kitchen before the bathroom flooded. Saved half of it from getting wet and plan to use it upstairs in an office bedroom. It was floating on paper and some kind of cushion. I plan to glue it down or toenail it. Suggestions? Does it depend on the flooring or the surface below at all?

I remember a house we were looking at renting. It had a tile shower. The tiles weren’t secured with anything they would just wobble under your feet.

Howdy folks, my father in law has a mint ‘97 T100 automatic, except for the dearly departed head gasket. Anyone have a vague idea on a shop estimate for a repair, I’m guessing what....$1500-2000?

Sounds like it would add to the traction making it safer. My girlfriend ate shit a few months ago in the fiberglass tub basin while taking a shower. PRO TIP: If you witness this, don't laugh - even if they aren't hurt. Even if it was funny.

Sounds about right for a 5VZ.

If the heads are cracked or warped, the cost will increase for machine time or new heads.

I would glue it down, 1/8” v-notch trowel, just make sure the the surface is nice and flat, if it’s not you’re going to be fighting the boards the entire time.

The original installer yanked up the sheet vinyl, but left the 1/4” underlayment with all the glue on it, mortar does not stick to we to dirty surface. People amaze me

yeah I had to do the same, ripped out the nasty vinyl floor and scraped the old glue off, took awhile... heated it up with hairdryer and it came up much better... amazing that 25 year old glue residue could be so smelly

5 years ago I was quoted in the $2500-3000 range around Denver IIRC

Picked up a junkyard motor with 134k for $500 out of a rolled truck and swapped it in instead. My engine had comp numbers in the 125-150 range and needed more love than just a HG though

    Hi all-
I will be moving to just outside of Estes Park Colorado for around 3 months this summer from mid-May till mid-August (as long as the virus doesn't cancel my job) and was looking to connect with some Colorado Tacoma World members. Any tips, advice, or cool places to go in my truck this summer would be super appreciated! I am an avid outdoorsman but a pretty 'green' offroader so I'd love to hear of some less challenging trails or maybe if you all are doing a meet up somewhere or something that would be awesome too!

Here is a pic of my truck (Ohio tags) in case you happen to see me around this summer feel free too say something lol
