Early on, all that talk of how wearing a mask would increase your chances of getting infected (more prone to touch your face to adjust it, etc.)... and somehow now it's a good idea. I'm sure someone out there in the world has put a YT video, or new article, together to explain how this makes sense... but I've not seen or heard of it, yet. I'm not actively hunting down such information, so I'll stumble across it at some point.

 

I don't know about you quaranteeners, but i'm going camping tomorrow. Parks campgrounds may be shut down (never camp there anyway), but the National Forest is open for business.
Fishing and hunting are a go. Just renewed my shit today online and have a temp confirmation number.

 

I just wish it was warmer out so I could do stuff on the truck. I’m still working though, so of course the warm days are during the week lol.

We have a lake 1/4 mile up the road and the kids and I have been fishing every day since the schools closed. Every now and then someone will stop to tell how I'm a bad parent for having my kids outside. Our neighbors kids have been taking turns getting sick with the flu stuck inside and mine havent had so much as the sniffles. We live in a small town and still everybody acts like your breaking a law when you leave your house.

 

Nothing wrong with being outside, fresh air is a must right now.
Just stay distanced from the fucktards that talk shit. They're out in the open to.

It's gotten stupid in my town, the ladies at our little grocery store have started open carrying due to dumbasses trying intimidate them because they can't follow the rules about quantities.

I would guess that you're best off finding a long term renter. A consistent income is going to be better than zero.

True, but it would take some work some of moms belongings in basement and it’s completely furnished.
Probably have to put in egress window in basement for bedroom. Would be a lot of work to turn it into a rental.
Plus so many are without jobs at this point..
Assisted living rent is 4500$ a month..
We’ll be alright for awhile..

Hopefully for everyone’s sake this corona bs flattens out and we can all get back to our normal lives..

It helps a lot that my dad was an officer in the service. His benefits and her SSI help tremendously.

Plus I’m upset I haven’t been able to see my mom I know it’s for her protection, but it’s still sucks!!

 

I believe in the beginning they were doing their best to conserve supplies for medical professionals that were on the front lines. Possibility we knew how short we were before it started to ramp up. Already seeing doctors fall due to exposure and lack of protection. There was probably also the thought of infecting yourself with contaminated supplies. Sure most people can put on a mask but dealing with procedures to contain contaminated supplies could infect others. Hopefully we learn more about this virus and its capabilities in the coming weeks.
