For your sake, I hope your children are older so that this doesn't feel like forever.

I won't bother sharing my story, as there's no good ending or good that came from it. Some people luck out and have a mostly positive experience, and some go through a living hell. Sorry that your story sounds like the latter.

Mine was deposited into an account that is no longer open. Dont see anywhere to update banking info. Im sure they will get it as a returned check. But then do they mail it or do I get to tell them my bank account number? Seems like a large leap to blindly deposit it into accounts without verifying them first. Guess Ill keep waiting.

I looked and didnt see an actual spot to update. I had to close the account that I used last year due to crazy women. The IRS page says that it was deposited into the old account.

Edit: I have not filed yet this year.

Yep. After dealing with the court system as an attorney (family law) and being a former prosecutor, I have lost ALL faith in the legal system and justice. Judge's know next to nothing about your kids and can do whatever the hell they want based upon their own values/judgments. The system is a joke. I call it the "high priced DMV"..... full of government workers who don't give a shit about you or your kids whose primary motivation is to do as little as possible.

    Exactly.

I have two provisions in my parenting plan. The first states that any deviation in time must be agreed upon by both parties. In a later change to our parenting plan, it was added that both parents shall be supportive of relationships. She is saying that I am not supportive of her relationships because I won't let them go, even though I already have plans.

What a waste of money. Coulda had more truck parts and stimulated the shit out of the local economy.

I'm not out of work, but I could use some extra cash if nobody else needs/wants to do it... How rusty is the truck and are you providing power tools? I only have hand tools, but should have everything.

So my company bought the jobsites lunch to show appreciation working through this COVID ordeal - it's buffet style so we all have to share. Seriously?!?!

Well, I filed them. Not sure if that will get the COVID check to me any sooner, but at least they are done.

I always tell my clients that the worst thing you can do is to "let the person in the black robe decide the fate of your children". They will make the decision and then go home to their family and never again think of yours.... unless it comes up on their docket again. THEN, they are mad you are there again "bothering" them and cluttering their docket. Just another gvmt scam.
