    Home Depot had overpriced shit with lots of plastic on the deck. Best I could find was $226.00 for something comparable to my old one. Cheapest was $164.00 ish and was a toy.

    I checked the Harbor Freight Predator engine and it had great reviews. So I went for it.
    $134.00 out the door and it was a direct bolt on and sounds like a Honda clone.

    Old engine, it ran well for many years and was abused like a redheaded stepchild.

    New mower has an actual throttle that works well simply wired WOT. Engine brake cable hooked right up.

    After 45 minutes of use, would recommend.
