I clear the tall grass about 15 yds out all the way down the fence line to keep the rabbits and mice away. Should have done it last week. Hopefully she didn't find her way under the shed to lay eggs when they finished

    That's a snake orgy.

Saw a big bull walking the Platte near my house. Also had a hawk land 10 yards away on a fence post w/ a fresh mouse in his beak that he stripped and ate in about two minutes. Then a bald eagle a few minutes later. It was like Wild Kingdom. The dog decided to swim the Platte and get the crane on the other side. Never been swimming before. Go big or go home. Then for her afternoon walk we found a fox who was just as curious about us as we were about him. Waiting for Marlin Perkins to pop out.

I run into snakes while mountain biking the front range quite often. Bulls and kings I'll leave alone, but usually try and coax rattle snakes off the trail so that the next runner/walker behind me doesn't get bit.

Have you guys experienced any trouble camping or wheeling because of the china virus?
Apparently a friend of a friend got fined and summoned to court for camping, not sure where.

    Is this old news?
    Whats the scoop?

I tried called the Forest Service, they transferred me to the local ranger dept for the area we want to go but they didnt answer and I couldn't leave a message.

I'd like to hear more input on this as well. I know State Parks and the US Forest Service closed their campgrounds (ie - established sites/actual campgrounds), but I'm not sure and haven't heard what it means for dispersed camping.

From my quick research... at least in terms of National Forest... each management area is implementing their own restrictions (although most are likely to be the same).
So for example, for the "Pike and San Isabel National Forests" according to their alerts (https://www.fs.usda.gov/detailfull/psicc/alerts-notices/?cid=fseprd719780&width=full)...

As of April 7, 2020 through May 31, 2020, the USDA Forest Service Rocky Mountain Region implemented changes to recreation facilities and activities to minimize the impact and spread of COVID-19. Developed recreation sites are temporarily closed while dispersed camping, hiking and river uses are allowed, although discouraged. Closed developed recreation sites include campgrounds, day-use areas, picnic areas, and any other constructed facility amenities – such as potable water stations, fire rings/grills, picnic tables, restroom facilities with flush or vaulted toilets, and trashcans and trash collection services.

    Dispersed, primitive camping is allowed.
If the campground has a toilet facility or any kind of outbuildings or metal ringed fire pits, then that is not allowed. Any campground that is serviced and maintained by the forest Service or Parks and Rec is off limits.

Ah got it. Maybe the friends of friends were in a campground, not sure.
We only go primitive camping so no problem there.
    Thank you!

    Lifted, Armored, needs more lights.
I thought Gov Polis was also allowing local counties to decide if they were open or not. So for instance, Park County (Fairplay) could decide no outsiders are allowed regardless of what the Forest Service, etc rules are and have sheriff office set up road blocks/ patrols.

I don't think there is any easy answer to this because so many "gov't layers" are involved.

Well my trailer project is finally finished at the fab shop.
Now all i need to do is the decking, tongue jack, powder coating, and lights.

Then down the road add a full height “roof rack“ and RTT, awning, spare tire, toolbox ect.

Interior is 51” wide, 114” long
With 20 inches of ground clearance.
    35” tires, can fit 37’s,
    3500# payload

Anyone want me to build you one?

As you see it 1054 pounds.
Thats including the unsprung weight. so closer to 850 actual towing weight as it sits right now.

I can build it to fit the track width of Tacoma's. This one was built to match the track width of my raptor and to haul 2x 500 pound adventure bikes so i wanted it wider inside and it had to be a minimum of 8 foot deck.

moved to this thread since nothing is for sale in the post. So is your truck lifted 3” or is your suspension stock?
