Ive tried stuff like that with Optima batteries with no luck. I have an Odyssey specific charger that extended my warranty just by purchasing, and I actually do use it too. It got to "conditioning mode" yesterday and sat there for at least 5 hours without ever getting to 100%. Im going to try to make it through the weekend and then leave it on that charger for a more full cycle. Plus Ill be doing enough driving this weekend to hopefully help it out a bit. On the ride in this morning, even getting the charge from the alternator, it wouldnt get over 13.1 volts and then as soon as I cut the truck off, it dropped quickly to 12.1.

    I appreciate it anyway!

I try to top mine off at least quarterly. They generally stay pretty damn close to full as they get a trickle charge every day from the solar. I still am not sure what weird glitch in the routine allowed it to happen. If it was the firmware thing, I am not a fan of that. If it’s wasn’t, I have no clue what happened.

they dont know whats in my coffee mug in those meetings! Sure you've seen the video of the girl who get a tea bag and cuts off the bag but tapes the tab to the mug so it looks like there is tea in the mug. Then off she goes to her zoom meeting with wine

Eating my words from a year ago in the trading post thread....
Well shit. My optima took a dump last weekend before I went out as well. Plugged the fridge into the truck and the rear aux panel couldn't keep itself on. Went down to 4wp to exchange the yellow top. They were out of stock but had the new optima dh6. ....bother were dead on the shelf. They gave me an oddysey to get on the road. It doesn't fit in the tray right nor will it fit the second tray I got for my dual setup. I think it's time for the diode or alternator regulator this for an agm in a Toyota

I'm not looking forward to that when I get a 2nd gen :/ Fortunately my 1st gen puts out 14.3V at the alternator and that's in spec for my Northstar AGM.

People with a RTT, do you use a condensation mat when camping in Colorado and surrounding areas? I’m thinking of getting one but not sure that I need it.

I think it depends on what RTT you have and how breathable it is. Also how many windows do you open at night or how cold do you get? I don't use one but I usually have all the windows open.
