I heard 21 rd was on fire. That really could get sporty. Hope nobody was back on that trail.

Spoke to them this morning. They’re hesitant to take “media blast only” projects at this time and quoted me $100 per wheel.

I don’t mind paying professionals for professional services but that isn’t a viable option for me.

I seen those as well. Really hoping it was fake news.

I was hoping to get out there and wheel it this summer. Lots of variables though

Elbow grease? Shit, I started to sand my sliders with an orbital sander, and an hour later, with hardly any progress being made, my forearms said "F THIS!!!". Ended up getting them media blasted at Premium Powder Coating on the south end of Longmont. It took them about 2 weeks, but they also blasted and powder coated some wheels for me so I'm sure that affected the lead time.

Edit: just saw your update. IIRC, I paid around $100-125/wheel for blasting and powder coating on my wheels. $100 for just blasting seems pretty steep. I thought they billed my sliders on a per hour basis.

I haven't been able to get anyone on the phone for my bumper at premium. Shane did a great job on my front bumper. I finally just drove up to the guy in fort collins at Front Range Powder Coating. He had not responded to my text messages after asking for pictures to be sent... I was happy with the premium powder coat on the front bumper but they were not as close by otherwise I'd have just showed up down there at premium...

Yeah $100/wheel for just the blasting seems steep. Hell I paid $40 total for them. Paying $400 just to have them media blasted seems off.

I spend much of my Summer talking with these people. I'm often amazed at the level of entitlement displayed.

I didn’t even have to say a word this time. As soon as they saw me taking pictures they promptly packed up and left.

It's one thing to be stupid and not know, it is a whole other story to know and be a fucking unsuccessful pull out

Do you think they had enough time get out a lit post on Instagram showing off how outdoorsy they are? That's probably their main motivation for leaving the city....

True. It also pisses me off that these people are most likely out of staters because of the lack of a front license plate. Or it had happy tags on it and he wanted to go out and test the capabilities of his awd crossover :notsure:

No camping allowed=camp, and bring everyone you know.

    No unlicensed OHV=Unlicensed OHV^2

Reserved campground tag=ignore reserved campground tag and don't pay for new one.

No shooting=shoot well into the night

No motorized vehicles=all of the motorized vehicles

No parking sign=park in the woods behind the no parking sign

    Put out campfire=not my problem

    No road=there is now
