Crawlbox FTMFW! Let's not make this a thing though. I do not recommend running black bear with no brakes. Don't need some stupid instagrammer killing themselves trying to follow in my footsteps.

He just can't help himself. Always has to be the hero! Also, brakes are dirty and I don't like getting dirty.

I can't thank @Coop68 @YamaDirtrider @bot102 and @Red Baron enough for making sure I got down safely. The switchbacks were a little scary trying to finesse the clutch, e-brake, and shifters without driving off a cliff. Glad we all made it down safely. We left my truck at the bottom of black bear. Aaron hooked me up with a hammock to sleep in. Alec drove me up to Delta (just past Montrose) at 5:40am the next morning to pick up a new wheel cylinder. We swapped it out, bled the brakes, and were back on the trail Saturday morning by like 10:30.

I must say that is impressive. I remember the first time I went up that pass I drove so slow. By the last time I went up it I mobbed it the whole way. I miss that Tacoma, that thing took a beating and kept on going.

 

Let us never forget that you also drove a jeep down the first obstacles right before the switchbacks. You sir were that man's hero ( if his wife hasn't killed him for going there yet )

 

Made things interesting for sure, also didn't get settled in to camp and started dinner till 10:30-11 pm. Was good to finally meet ya mang
