The smoke smell is so strong and odd smelling today it made me feel like I was back in Afghanistan during winter.

Right in front of the "no parking on road" signs. Was interesting watching the campers squeeze by

Can anyone recommend a gunsmith who is pretty familiar or specializes in AK pattern builds?

Raining ash here. Horsetooth is behind that cloud. Very apocalyptic out there.

Super sad! It was super eerie up here last evening, and even worse today. Dead calm and quiet. It’s creeping in on my get away from people spots. :(

Edit: that was as of last night. Probably be gone by the end of today.

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
I highly recommend changing though bearings once a year. Mine get swapped every spring before wheeling season.

About how many miles did those bearings experience?
I think your Tacoma is daily driven. Correct?
@turbodb has a good writeup about his experiences with spherical bearings. He recommends a stainless steel replacement.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-and-adventures.484602/page-170#post-23267948
Edit: I thought there was a source and part number for the stainless COM10T bearing in the writeup but I am mistaken. I must have read it in a different post that I currently cannot find.

It's just dark enough out to trip my motion sensor lights. Waiting for the street lights to light up.

South from Jacks Gulch campground off Pingree park road.

They're on over here. Trying to get the irrigation blown out and the swamp cooler drained, feels like it's 8:30 at night.
