The best part was when @Squeaky Penguin said "I've never been so hot in the summer". It felt pretty good Saturday! :D:D:D

I am up visiting Steamboat with my parents right now and we've got a new one burning up here that apparently started yesterday. Currently at 140ish acres. I had commented to my parents that yesterdays air quality was surprisingly clear, and we were lucky to have such good visibility hiking Fish Creek Falls. This morning it was so smokey in town we couldn't even see the fire burning from less an few miles away as we drove up to Steamboat Lake. Didnt even know there was a fire until later, as the wind pushed smoke out through out the day, we could see it from the park 25 miles north of town.

My dad snagged a few photos as we were driving back.

Thanks again man. Drive across the country went perfectly. And I did better than 17mpg every tank except one when it was windy. :p

    What hasn't been modified?
The had around 30k on them. it was my daily, but not anymore. So I have time to down it and replace those while getting the shocks rebuilt. Also time to go through other parts and get ready for winter.
Didn't see this till after, but the old bearings are out. Just waiting on the new ones to show up, ordered the regular Teflon replacements.

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
How old are they? Highway miles are a lot harder on the bearings. They move every time there is a movement in the suspension and our winters kill them with snow and dirt get frozen to the bearing and deteriorate the protective film that is on the bearing.
