Not my job, I was just there to finish someone else's punch list and ran across this gem. It's got about 60 degrees of opening.

 

Someone didn't do clash detection......and now they have an HD door stopper

I recently had to pull the toilet in my basement for sewer work. The toilet was caulked to the tile to secure it and leveled with some wooden door shims and 1x1" subway tiles. Also, there was no flange on the floor. At all.

 

being a homeowner really sucks some days

However, these "MAY" get me closer to some new tires for the Taco! Still running the originals and time for an upgrade so if I can get a couple of bucks from it, the funds will go a long way

Probably the engineer.
You wouldn't believe the number of brand new mechanical rooms I've seen with stuff like that. Any RFIs written to try and fix the issue just make them angry and indignant.
Or you could blame the architect because I'm sure they didn't allow a large enough mechanical room. That's not "sexy" square footage that they can sell.
I can almost guarantee that the mechanical contractor tried everything to make that right but was thwarted by those that were "smarter"

 

Now that’s what I’m talking about. Don’t RFI it, just install per plan and see if anyone cares

Had a great time exploring the rim rocker trail this week.
Started in Montrose and wheeled into utah.
Crossed some high desert, low desert and through some forest fire debris.

 

Anyone have recommendations on good alignment shops besides rsg and toytec Denver area
