Yeah I have a driver drop case.

I would consider doing the work to swap to a gear case for pass drop, though. My long term plan would be to get it set up with a driver drop front with the stock case and save for an atlas later on

They are listing my truck as 2 owner which is wrong I’m the only owner.

Also they are listing the below accident where I got rear ended as “severe damage” and it’s scared at least one person away that I know of.

The matrix I bought was severe damage rear end collision. As far as I can tell it was only bumper damage as well. Rear hatch has matching vin. I hear you on the scaring people off though. I was about to bail on a $3k car.

Did you lease then buy out? Possibly the way it was purchased through the broker?

Severe damage is the total cost of the repairs, not actual evidence. Was there a frame pull?

Seriously though, Carfax really doesn't like helping the current owners out. "They are protecting the buyer"

Have you tried a different VIN report provider like Auto Check to see if records are similar? Not sure if that's worth a shot, as they may all pull data from the same place.

I know it's not a flannel, but this must be your holiday wear.

Whenever I go visit family in Maine, I make sure to spend too much money at one of the LL Bean outlets. I love that place.

I did lease and buyout so that could explain the two owners thing, bank and then me. That’s the lesser of my two concerns though.

As far as the accident goes, there was no frame pull. If I remember correctly the damages totaled less than $5k which in my humble opinion should not constitute severe damage on a $30k truck. I’ll have to reach out to the repair shop and get a copy of the records if I can’t find the one I had previously.

The thing that really ticks me off is not only do they have it listed as a severe damage accident, but they also have it showing damage to areas of the truck that weren’t affected at all ie the roof and front half of the truck :annoyed:

Not bad at all. Left Friday morning for Moab. Hit Canyonlands and Arches. Stayed there Friday night. Saturday morning took the long way and hit Bryce and Zion. Spent the night in St George. Then Sunday morning drove straight to San Diego. No issues what so ever but I could have easily spent a month in Utah exploring the parks.

Starting next week I'll start to plan my return trip. Might have a friend and his wife convoy with us since they live in MO and want to hit some National Parks on the way home too. Saw that it snowed today in CO....might extended my CA trip through to Jan 2021.

Did the body shop note hail damage? Or did they claim hail?
