Everyone staying sane with the pandemic? I haven’t done much with the taco lately but drive it to work. Been more focused on the reef tank.FF8A34AA-65BE-4F84-B98B-D02F37EDFE1B.jpg

I agree and disagree. Sport climbing definitely seems like the outlier of the three, though. At least people outside of the surfing and skateboarding can name some of each respective sports pro's... hell my grandparents know who Tony Hawk and Kelly Slater are. How many people worldwide know who tf Ondra, Honnold, Caldwell and Sharma are?

Again, cool to see some action sports now in the mix. Sport climbing just seems like it's ahead of its time for better or worse.

Edit / after thought. I suppose the same argument can be made for a ton of other sports currently in the Olympics.

Edit Edit. Currently researching who my favorite Tug of War Olympian will be....

who in the US can name a single olympic US runner? or shot putter? and those have been olympic sports since the dawn of time. Except for school sports, who is casually pole vaulting or shot putting on a sunday afternoon lol

Alright since y'all seem to know almost everything about anything I need some input. My wife got me one of the Baja Designs universal license plate mounts that goes on the front and holds the license plate and you can put a small light bar or some LED pods like the BD ones she got me for my birthday. The plate holder that came from the dealer was screwed directly into the black valance with some lag bolts. I'm wondering if it would work to use a few lag bolts to screw the mount directly to the valance? Or should I figure out another way? The last thing I want to do is lose $200 in lights my wife got me because they bounced off the front of my truck. The plate holder from the dealer feels pretty sturdy but also the lights weigh more than just the license plate.

Any thoughts on how? I'm decently handy but it's the ideas part that gets me.

do you have access to the back side of it?

throw some 1/4 or 8 mm nut/bolts through there with fender washers on both sides instead of lag bolts
