    Lowes/HD installers want to leave floorboards in place for vinyl install and then add quarter round to fill the gap :puke:

    no material, Lowes/HD wants me to buy their product but I'm not happy with their installers. Installers want me to buy their product.

    Also looking at the flooring Sams Club had. open to input. want LVP have 2 dogs and between them and I we track in plenty of dirt. Need something that doesnt scratch easily and don't want carpet due to dog related stains

    That was my COVID project. LVP and baseboards. I definitely needed a break from flooring after doing the whole main level. It felt like a big job to me since I don't do that for a living. Similar situation... the carpets were pet-stained and nasty. At least now I only have two dogs to deal with and neither (right now) is a house wetter.

    Carpet was trashed when I moved in from many years of abuse under the sellers kids and pets and I punted it down the road to save money. Now that I'm home full time and no longer tentatively moving for a partner it is time to make it disappear
