    That GMC van of mine, is going thru parts.
    Just did the alternator. At least it was a nice day to work on the van instead of working for customers. :rolleyes:

    Truck parked since 12/13 and just noticed ~5" puddle of fluid under the front, appears to have come out the front diff breather. Down the frame and onto the skids, dripping off the LCA.

    Maybe Details?:
    Just did spindles and alignment then drove to WP from Arvada and back, then parked it. There was a bit where the 4wd light was flashing on the pass but it felt like 4wd was engaged. Was not pushing it.
    I maybe overfilled it 10k ago, filled on a slight incline? It's been in snow/water and 4x4 on the highway since then with no leak.
    Seems like an excessive amount for all of a sudden?

    I have not pulled the fill plug and checked yet, just noticing this and will need to drop skids for that, a bit crunched for time so checking here first.

    @thefatkid ?

    What hasn't been modified?
    Sure it was diff fluid and not oil? When was the oil change done?

    Oil and Diffs done at 60k. Oil done at 65k. Oil at 70k. Currently at 71k. Definitely diff fluid by the smell of it.

    That makes sense in my book, can't push air so it pushes fluid.

    Overfill is possible, not sure there.

    The 4x4 light flashing, has it gone back into 4wd fully after that? How fast were you going in 4wd?

    Yes it's gone back in and out multiple times during that trip. After locating the leak I drove it today in a sandy parking lot and it went right in and out, felt the slight clunk. I was doing around 35-40 up the pass for about a 30-45 seconds before switching it back out.
