    what does this mean?

    Mine has a high idle of about 950rpms. Drops to 600 or so after a few minutes of warming up.

    Sounds like someone is blipping the throttle repeatedly. And no it doesn’t smooth out as it warms up. It dies if I don’t hold the rpm over 1k for a few seconds. When I do that it smooths out. Hot or cold or does it

    Based on internet and people suggesting, I’ve replace the ICP sensor, EBP sensor and tubes, switched to 5w-40 synthetic rotella, and added archoil stiction eliminator @Wulf. Injectors are less than 15k old (definitely possible that one went bad) but it doesn’t really sound like a miss, so much as a throttle problem

    Just went out to start it to get a vid and it only romped a couple times before leveling itself out... it’s never done that before so I’m crossing my fingers that @Wulf is right and it’s a stiction issue that just needs the archoil to run through for a few drives. As far as ICP I threw a new sensor in there and then when it still did it I started it unplugged to make sure that one wasn’t bad out of the box and it still did it the exact same way. EBPV rod is my next attempt to diagnose and if that doesn’t end up being it I’ll start to fuck with injectors. I still need to compression test it to make sure the motor is even worth messing with

    I have been getting motorcraft everything for this truck. If the compression test goes well the fuel bowl and water pump are next
