About half of the cars today were subarus. At least they have tow points. Fucking Hyundai doesn’t put tow points on their cars. Nightmare

Right! Stupid cars have to hook around control arms or sway bars.

    Does not compute.

Nice sippin whiskeys require no ice. The sludge you drink requires ice and all sorts of other crap.

But I’m just giving Tim some shit. We’ve met a few times. Both he and I know he’s far tougher than me in real life

im not sure if they even could since its limited batch runs they only get 2-6 a month alot of stores i ask tell me they are lucky to get 1 a year but who knows! My wife’s uncle always has a bottle for special occasions. Seems best way to get it is being a regular and or befriending your local liquor store owner.

I didn’t realize it was that limited. You know Daveco has the buying power with their volumes, figured they could get more.

yeah buffalo trace which makes blantons limits it, but i think main issue is just supply.

im just down the street from daveco so i check when i go in but never been lucky honestly its now just a fun hunt to try and find it.

I'm too impressed with my little Taco. We got a bunch of snow today... feet of it.

There is no less than 3 feet of snow in my driveway, but when I saw a neighbor walking into the blizzard (literal) home down the middle of the street it didn't take too long to figure out there was a stuck car somewhere fairly close. Since stuck cars tend to create big problems for plows and EMS vehicles, I figured I'd head out to see if I could employ my recovery gear to get them somewhere safe.

I wasn't sure how well the truck would do in snow this deep. There was a standing 2 feet on the road. My KO2s were at 29lb. I've got a pair of traction boards, a tow strap and shackles to get the job done.

It didn't take long to locate the car; a Hyundai sedan, stuck as could be, steeply downhill from where it needed to be. It didn't have a tow/tie-down large enough to accommodate a shackle, so we went with plan B and used a heavy duty ratchet strap (the same sort we strapped cargo down on C-130s, plenty sturdy for the task at hand, though not as secure as I'd have liked it).
My little Taco didn't miss a beat despite being deep in snow, dragging a little sedan through 2' of snow for a quarter mile. The extra lighting I added recently was exceptionally helpful, particularly the light bar facing aft and the side-shooters. The truck was flawless and much more sure footed than I had expected.
