In which position is the jiggle valve on the thermostat? On my truck it made like a 10+ degree difference flipping it from 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock.

I was having overheating issues and I took the radiator off and soaked it with simple green and then power washed it. It looked clean when it came out but a TON of mud came out of it

How do they do in deep snow? Highway noise?

I was looking at Falken AT3, Toyo AT3, or maybe Nitto Ridge grapplers for my F350.. but I like my other Maxxis tires so these might change that.

    Stuff. Also things.
Thanks for the heads up, Jake. I was checking those out after @Squeaky Penguin mentioned them the other day.

I might be changing things up soon if I can get my hands on some 17s. Nice to know there’s another option out there besides the Kendas, especially if they potentially offer them in C or D load range.

Maybe it’s time to think about selling my 16s and 315s while they still have a good amount of tread life on them...

Haven't had any issues in snow unless I mash the skinny pedal, on ice they've really proved their worth and for road noise they make the bfg ko2 and toyo at3 sound like track vehicle.
(Edit- especially when said tires get down to around 50%)

Only issue I have with the m55 is when the truck is empty it feels like I'm running on a solid tire, swear I could feel every pebble that went under them, when loaded the ride felt infinitely better.

Make sure there are no air bubbles/high points in the coolant hoses. Sounds like you have replaced the thermostat but could potentially be a faulty part? I also second the others suggestions if thoroughly cleaning between the fins of the radiator

Tall skinny is wining. I'm kinda shocked it is taking the US market so long to get more options.

The 35x10.5r17 Kenda Klever was killing it on both trucks this last storm. Likely the width is its biggest advantage in traction. Still only a M+S rated but had above average packed/ice performance. Still can't comment on life or wear pattern. Can't say I wouldn't try another tall skinny 35 next time if any more get released. Still would rather have the 3 peak snow rating.

So I'll echo the previous. Wash out your radiator, confirm your thermostat has the jiggle valve in the correct location, confirm fan clutch operation.

Tell me more about this new engine though. You're describing a condition that could be the cause of reversed head gaskets. There is a passage hole that is block on one head that is not on the other.
