Wondering if anyone has experienced this and could provide some insight. Went to take the kids sledding Monday and I got a warning twice within a few minutes of each other that my engine oil was low. Each warning only stayed on for a few seconds. Oil level looked fine. Since then I’ve driven the truck a few times, maybe 3 or 4 times for a about 30 miles and the warning light hasn’t come on again.

The only thing I can think of is that I drove the truck through some pretty deep snow Sunday and Monday morning and maybe snow built up above the skid plate and triggered a sensor. I checked the oil pan bolt (fumoto valve) and filter and both show no signs of leaking. What do you all think could of happened? Should I be concerned? Thanks in advance.

My guess would be moisture on a sensor. Only time I’ve had that warning is on crazy steep inclines

^^^ This. Unplug the connection and try to get the water out of it and put some dielectric grease in it and reconnect.

I simply cut the mat to make it fit tight against the edge of the stiffener. Looks and fits fine. Pics tomorrow after I have my coffee.

Thank you very much. I know total chaos clears without trimming the mat but I want to support local

Given the size of the unit, I think its versatility is the biggest benefit. This would theoretically allow it to be mounted almost anywhere which completely justifies the price tag.

I already have two. One handmade by hipsters on lathes from Boston that uses the Fischer Space Pen cartridges as well as a blaze orange Rite in the Rain pen.

The EDC crowd loses their sH** over this stuff. (I am not in that crowd).

    Low volume manufacturing?
    High materials costs?
    Exorbitantly priced labor?
