I've actually been selling off projects and resisting the urge to acquire more pretty successfully

At least for me, I haven't been on here much to give the heckles. I'm about to find out if the insurance company is going to total my truck or not. Apparently the frame needs to be replaced and they are actually considering moving everything onto the new frame. That can't be good right?

 

Have them weld on some shock relocations and body mount relocations while they are at it haha

 

That sounds like a fiasco for sure... How long will it take them to figure it out?

 

They said they would confirm early this week so I'm calling them today to push for an answer.

 

For those of us that missed it (or forgot), what happened?

 

I got nailed by a guy that ran a red light while I had a green arrow. Of course he said his light was green and no one stopped to talk to the police so it's a he said/ she said situation. Doesn't look like there are any traffic cameras either. I'm going to end up taking this one on the nose I think.

It's actually not that much work.

 

We'll see. The plan was to pay the truck off and drive it for 20 years. I've had it for over 3 years and it only had 26k miles on it. I'm concerned about having lots of issues down the road if they do repair it. It's got a lot of front end damage and passenger side suspension and steering linkage damage. Either way I just want to know what's happening dammit. Rip the Band-Aid off already dammit. lol

 

What’s up with that white 1st gen with FJ Cruiser Trail Edition wheels?

Anyone under a turd Gen double cab short bed Tacoma that could get me a measurement from centerline of carrier bearing back to the pinion flange?

 

This was almost a year ago. I couldn't tell you. All my recent frames have gone the way of salvage/tow out.
