what's the permanent fix going to be?

Believe they're Bradford Pears. Do they kinda stink? If so, for sure them.

 

I was going to ask if they smell like semen.

 

So did anyone end up getting Tim and Marty unstuck?

 

I just texted with him.

They have someone coming from Rawlins this afternoon. I'll head that way after work if that doesn't work out.

They smell like flowers to me. Not stinky.

Crabapple seems plausible based on some image searches. I'm surprised my mom didn't recognize that. Maybe because it's a lanky shrub instead of a big tree?

Bank job to start with, we'll see where it goes.

 

We have a bunch of these on our cottonwood stumps. They go bonkers after the rain and grow ridiculously fast.

Any idea what species they are?

 

Back when I was in college, a friend of mine invited me to her parents apartment in old town to have a couple drinks. I got there and it turned out it was a penthouse in one of the tall buildings right near where you took these pics. Until that day I was unaware that her parents were absolutely LOADED

The 2x4 is working great, but my neighbors probably aren't so stoked about it.

I'll get a cable/strap and tie the split branch back to the main trunk up high for support. Maybe do some research and see if I should wrap the split with anything.
