    Stuff. Also things.
Having at one time lived in Denver and in some of the surrounding suburban wastelands, I can’t agree enough that living in Not Denver is much MUCH better.

Truth. I don't think I could afford a trashcan in an alley in Denver. But then again, that's because I don't make $151,410

I'm sure there are plenty who disagree but I don't think any amount of money is enough to be happy living in Denver

Lived in Montana for 9 years, still have family there. More expensive than CO for the most part.

Denver is great. Kicked off my career here, found my wife, bought a house just to name a few things; can't complain despite its imperfections, and I'm immensely grateful. Did end up mostly giving up skiing due to the crowds and insane traffic, but I secretly never liked it that much any way if I'm being honest:rofl:

Any specific reasons why you guys loathe it? Overcrowded? That's most metros worth living nowadays; a city was the wrong choice if you were looking for something more remote. Too expensive? Same thing. Too homogeneous of demographics? Sort of agree haha, but it doesn't make me hate Denver, too busy doing things  Four major sports teams all within 5 miles of each other!!

    I know.
Just taking an opportunity to bring Frank Zappa into the BS.
I'm actually considering selling my house here and buying a house in cash in Hawaii. 3 acres for 250k. Bought my house here in 2008 and it's worth more than double what I bought it for and was supposed to be our starter home. I refuse to pay these ridiculous prices just so I can have a newer nicer house. Everytime somebody buys a house on my street for 500+ I can't help but think they're idiots.
If I wanted to move here from Texas I would take one look at the market and immediately stop considering and buy a mansion for less than a 1970's house with a 30" vanity and no tub in the master bath for 550k.
I only say Texas because thats where everyone has always flocked here from, and apparently now Florida too because those plates are everywhere now.

The times, they are a-changing. Value of anything is just what someone is willing to pay for it. A lender wouldn't be giving those idiots 400K+ (that's assuming 20% down) if they didn't think the house wasn't worth that much. You know what they don't make more of these days? Land, especially in desirable places. You know what they do make more of these days? People, more and more of 'em.

Bro, I'm telling you Hawaii, South Carolina living on the water. I feel like living in Denver has become a fashion statement.
