In other news, Old Smoky BlackBerry moonshine, with a tiny splash of Pepsi, is delicious. :burp:
This was an accidental shot I took a few nights ago. And it becomes a thing now.

Pondering while drinking at Launch Pad Brewery in Aurora. Where do people go fishing around here? I bought a kayak a few weeks ago and still trying to figure out a place to go. Went up to Lake Dillon first, no luck and I didn’t know how to fish that. Then Aurora Reservoir. Again not a bite. I was thinking of Quincy Reservoir for down here and then maybe Grand Lake or something else in the mountains.

    slim pickings.

Without driving Aurora, Quincey, and Cherry Creek reservoirs are your best bet.

Let me know if you come down to Quincey or Aurora and we can get a beer at 222 or Dry Dock :burp:

I’ve never been to 222. I’ll have to take you up on that.

Running that setup right now and love it! 2.5 Assegai upfront, 2.4 DHRII in the rear. 3C Max Terra EXO+ both front and rear. 29 PSI up front, 32 PSI rear. Don’t run Cushcore, but have thought about it to protect the carbon wheels. Ride rocky Horsetooth Mountain Park all the time and never had a puncture.

Long shot here, but if the bar has a bottle of Malört, ask the bartender to pour your new friend a shot of it. That should get them to go away. Unless they're from Chicago, then you'll never get rid of them...

Nobody knows what it is, but it tastes like paint thinner with a spritz of unsweetened grapefruit juice.

Get your ass up north and come drink a beer. I’m pretty sure there was some sort of TW express that was eventually going to get one thing from you to me or vice versa

I’m going to hope you’re doing it right and it sounds like my style.

What are your thoughts on Dakota Ridge/Hall ranch (bitterbrush), Devil’s backbone (Loveland), Moab…? If the answer is YES, we need to go ride sometime.

    Yeah, I’m wondering why 37 as well…
I was running carbon rims on my V1 Ripley with 2.3 front/2.25 rear at 17psi without exo sidewalls and never got a flat… that was riding all the rocky stuff here. Of course the bike was 24lbs and I’m 153…

    Stuff. Also things.
I haven’t seen that Cannondale, but I’ll have to check it out!

I can’t say much about the options up here for riding, but I can tell you that northern Colorado is the place to be. I’m on the southwest side of Longmont and I’m only a few minutes from Hwy 7, Hwy 36, and all of the other canyons up here. I freaking love it. The housing market is just as silly as it is everywhere else on the front range, but up here you can go for a place in town or you can get a little land and have have a big ass shop if you go a little further east. After living in Denver and Aurora, it’s not even a question for me.

Thanks, man! I’m sure I’ll take you up on that!

I don’t even worry about flats. Never had one and I like riding gnarly rocky stuff. Would use Cushcore more to help absorb impact before damaging the wheel. Devil’s Backbone, IMHO, is meh. Horsetooth and Lory State Park are much better. Hard to find a better downhill in Northern Colorado than Wathen or Stout at Horsetooth.

The answer is yes. I'm a washed up pro DH/Enduro racer and like to smash rocks but I have a negative fitness level right now.

Regarding PSI, yes, it is substantially more than most would run or recommend. I'm about 190lb and spend more time in the air than on the ground. I can't ride carbon wheels because I can't seem to keep from blowing them up. The Stans hoops I had on my last bike were dented and wouldn't hold tubeless....And I ride DD casing with cuchcore. I've cracked pretty much every frame I've rode, the stolen Sentinel had a new front triangle on it. :anonymous:
