Been on this current project for over 2 years and taking meeting minutes. Passed it off to the new hire to record notes a couple weeks ago. Today they completely changed the formatting out of nowhere because it "looked prettier". This is construction and that came from an engineer. WHAAAAAAT THEEEEE FFFFFFFFFF!!!!

@jubei @literallynothing thoughts on a place with a shaded, dog friendly patio I can stay a few hours at?

    Wibby looks OK

If it makes you feel better, I’m on a phased project that’s part school remodel and part new addition, and they are finally sending us another field engineer to help me out (we’re about a year and a half in). He starts today. We start final cleaning the biggest phase of the project today…

I’m probably not the best person to ask, but the patio at Tasty Weasel is always busy when I drive past there on the way home from work. Pretty sure they’re dog friendly too, but not positive on that.

I’ve heard good things about Wibby too.

To all my soil, dirt, concrete experts out there. How easy/hard, cheap/ expensive will this be to repair or replace?

The slab outside the door has sunk and broken off the main slab. Main concern is the overhang support beam attached to the slab. the beams were checked and they are rock solid (he he) and did not concern the inspector. He did not list it as a major concern but said "This should be investigated further and repairs made as necessary." Was unable to pull up the carpet that covered the slab.

I'm no expert in anything, but maybe one of those driveway repair guys where they pump concrete under the slab to raise it up. :notsure:

Same thought, think it's called Slab Jacking. Parents had it done on sidewalk in Ohio a few years ago and everything is still good from this "repair"

Nothing is a major concern to inspectors haha (sorry if someone here is) at least the one my realtor used.. For my house it was "electrical looks good, there's power, but you should probably get an electrician out to inspect further... plumbing looks good, water works and drains but you should probably get a plumber out to inspect further, roof looks good, it's on top of the house, but you should probably get a roofer to inspect further. Looks like you should put a handrail by the stairs on the deck.. could be dangerous"
Well thank you.. I could of done that
