54 - is that it? Your not old. I could sleep through the night without having to pee at 3 am when I was that age.

    Happy Birthday!

I fucking hate plumbing and trying to work with the work left by the careless morons who built this house 40 year ago.

Oh, and I hate plumbing. It's like the asshole of crap.

I cant get the farkin drain pipe extension to seat properly in the p-trap. After having to cut back the main drain coming out of the wall (16" from the friggen wall) and rebuilding the p-trap components. Literally the easiest thing.... seating the friggen drain pipe extension into the p-trap. The water is just seeping up between the plastic extension tube and that tapered compression seat/washer thing. I spent 3 hours trying to seat it properly and it still seeps. I don't know what else to do.

Besides burn the fkn house down.

    Now you tell me :(

Cut the tailpiece long enough that it sits at least an inch into the trap. Debur the tailpiece. Slide the nut, then the tapered washer (thin side down) onto the tailpiece. Make sure the tailpiece goes into the trap straight. Hand tighten the nut. Done.
