I pulled what is known as a "pro gamer move" and ditched the wife. A few years later, looking at undeveloped acreage property to full time camp on with the pup.

All the shit in the back of the van is now in the front. Hope the fucker catches the clap.

I hear ya! Getting to know a lot of the early employees, including Dale, this a bitter-sweet situation.

 

Does anyone throw sandbags in the back of their truck bed for winter to help with the ass end sliding out?

 

I haven't for awhile, cause there is already heavy shit back there. But if your bed is currently empty, it'd be a good idea.

 

Also, right over the rear axle, or against the cab end of the bed. Not all the way back to the gate or you will have a front end with a very loose relationship with the road.

 

yeah my bed is empty and I felt my back end kick out last snowstorm but when I put the truck in 4HI there wasn't any issues really. Its going to snow again so I should get some sandbags tomorrow.

 

If you could quit your day job, sell your home, pay cash for mountain property, build a nice little cabin, have a few bucks in the bank leftover to cover expenses for a year or two, find a job in foodservice or whatever in the meantime that doesn't require thinking or bringing that shit home after hours, yet pays enough to cover the grocery and other bills, no more house payment...

You bet your ass I would. I would choose another job over food service though. Maybe mowing the grass at a golf course early in the am to leave the rest of the day open for activities.

 

i'd need at least 1 dog with me. maybe 3 but at least 2
