PSA:. If you ever drop a 20lb starter on your face and you think there's a chance you may have broken the bones around your eye socket, do not blow your nose to try and get the blood out. You may pop your eyeball out and that will probably scare the crap out of you.

I’m glad that didn’t end worse than it could have. Hope it heals up quickly and there aren’t any lasting issues.

Could've been a lot worse.
First ER sent me down to Anschutz. Said I needed surgery immediately because I had ruptured the eyeball.
Ophthalmologist at Anschutz verified good pressure in the eyeball, sight and motion are fine. After a whole day at 2 ERs, I might as well not have gone.
Bones around the socket are broken in a few places but there's nothing to be done for that.
I look like a horror show, but surprisingly little pain and I still have two working eyeballs so thank God for that.

 

damn dude glad youre all good. i had a friend years ago that broke his eye socket and really fucked up his eye for a good while but is all good now
