I have a long time corporate customer that has recently switched to an online billing app that sucks ass for efficiency and has crashed more than a few times. It shouldn't take me 20 minutes to send one fucking invoice.
Might be dropping that customer. Have a meeting with them tomorrow to discuss going back to the tried and true, reliable method of using person to person email.
Or they can find another door whore.

They think the meeting is to educate me on the benefits of the system, which there are none. The chip on my shoulder is huge right now over this.
NONE of my other customers use this crap. Fucking 3rd party Cali based millennial bullshit.

Just tell them you'll bill an extra 1-3 hours for each invoice you have to send... Unless you just send an email like before and they can create one on their side.

I like this train of thought....but however...
Adding to the shoulder chip is the fact that they bitch about cost, but continue to use me anyway. I mean literally every other job, bitching about a service call for a 30 minute job.
This is how the service call industry makes money and covers other costs.
That alone is enough for me to tell them to go fuck themselves.

You can only burn so many (paid) hours into invoicing before it's inevitably not worth your own time.
