Seriously. I paid to take the express lane around 35mph traffic on 36 last week... only to go like 45mph because there was a :censored: Subaru Legacy Wagon holding up a line of 20 cars ahead of me. Completely dry roads, nobody in front of them for miles.

Bro, I was just trying to enjoy the view of the Flatirons while there wasn't a car blocking my sight to ruin it for me. Namaste

I used to daily drive 36. I refuse to ever take the toll lane. I would see at least half a dozen times a day where someone in stop and go traffic would just YOLO across double whites into the toll lane that was going 75+

I did have to drive on the shoulder when someone did that last week and then slammed on the brakes after cutting me off. I'm not looking forward to the commute tomorrow morning. I'm considering leaving at like 7am to see if I can avoid most of the stupid.

I guess I'll leave at 5am. Hell, I'll leave now and camp at the work parking lot - benefits of having a camper.

Anyone know of a tire shop that would mount a 12.5" tire on a 7" wheel? I was hoping to go with the KM3s, but Discount Tire won't do it on anything less than 7.5" wide rim. The only other alternative they had for me was a nitto trail grappler that's 11.5" wide. I had a set of Nitto AT terra grapplers when I first moved out here but they sucked in the snow. Anyone have experience or feedback on the Trail Grapplers?

are there any mom and pop style automotive shops near you? That'll be your best bet

If you're willing to drive to Centennial Aurora there's a couple shops that did several sets for me.

    Stuff and junk and things...
Find a smaller tire shop in the less desirable part of town, you'll get it done for probably $20 a tire.

MT's suck in snow, they all do so deal with it!

Trail Grapplers were pretty par for the course as far as MTs go on the road. Don't remember them being any worse than KM2/Cooper MT/Ironman MTs in slick conditions though none of them were great.
