Getting kinda tempted to go to a 33” tire :bananadead:

Thinking, if I do pull the trigger, of getting 255/85/16 probably. I’m currently at stock height with 1.25” wheel spacers in the front since I had my spindles gusseted last year. I don’t really want to spend the money on a different wheel but would need to if I want to remove the spacers.

How much would I gain off-road by going to a 33? I currently still have the 265/75/16’s that came with the truck. Load range E, Linglong Crosswind off brand.

But then again, my sister texted me yesterday about wanting to make a trip to Ireland in the next few months. I would have to make every effort to go on that trip if it works out. Not sure if I want to pay $2-3k to go to Europe AND poop out the cash for 33’s….

Jumping tire size benefits different people in different ways. They way I have always gone about it is that if I find myself on trail wishing I had bigger tires or electing not to do certain trails because my tires aren’t big enough, I go to the next size up. Did that from 32 to 33 to 35 to 37. If you don’t think your tire size is limiting what you are doing, it’s not worth the money

I find that my truck is pretty capable with the 32s. Some of the mountain trails are pretty damn nasty though. I don’t know if moving up a little bit to a 33 would be worth it or not, and that’s mostly just exploring for elk season and then hunting.

Based on what you have said, I would just wait until the truck needs new tires and jump up then

Anybody have suggestions on places to get gears installed? I’m located in north Denver. I already have the gears and rebuild kits for the diffs.

What is the purpose of the banned members thread if noone can respond, and those that are banned cannot see it? Asking for a friend.

The Green Room Banned Members thread is on my "watch" list. Reminds me of the daily funnies in the paper. You can "like" but how does a person get sufficient privilege to do more? Beats me. Laughs and questions - keeps me interested from a distance.

Guess I just don't see the merit in responses like "fuck your mom" and "sorry about your dick" for high praise in a locked thread. Isn't the purpose of moderating on this forum to do the exact opposite of that? Burn me at the stake for asking, I suppose.

    Stuff. Also things.
I appreciate the strong moderation against all things political, but that sort of thing just reeks of being a dick just because you can.

The chorus of fanboy likes for posts like that just makes for a stronger incentive to keep it up too.

Being popular on an Internet forum is very important, I guess.

I had pretty much the same reaction to that post as I do many of the others in that thread. Some of the comments and gifs strike me as completely unnecessary. Glad I am not the only one who is put off by it.
