    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
    Gunna toss this out here.

Hoping one of you guys are near Colorado Springs, and can maybe help my kid. He's stationed at Ft. Carson. He's got a broken yoke on the diff end of his driveline. He has a slip yoke he picked up and is trying to replace the broken one on his truck.

He can't get the slip yoke to come out of the driveline on his truck. I've made all the suggestions I can, over the phone, but I'm not sure if there's a lack of complete communication or if there is something wierd going on.

Thought maybe there was suction on the slip yoke. Told him to remove the zerk fitting and it may free up the suction. He's saying he can't get that off either.

The kid is a smart kid and has worked on trucks before, I don't know what's going on, and I'm not much help over the phone. He's on post, but the driveline is off the truck. So, he'd be able to bring it off post, if someone is able to take a look at it.

The growing up that Fort Collins did in the last 8 years is exactly why I felt the need to GTFO lol. And RCI sliders are decent. They aren’t long enough, so you can still dent your c pillar. And if you really slam them, they will bend. Mine are now welded to my truck because they bent so much at the mounts

This place is crazy now man! I'm 44, my great grandmother was born in fc. My grandmother and mother both taught at Timmnath elementary, where my boys now go.

From the pictures of your truck, you probably beat the fuck out of those sliders.. I'll probably never be that "offroad". I'm not looking for obstacles, I'm taking kids as far up the forest service road as I can before it craps out then going further until I need to drop to 4 low. I rarely get to put my truck in a compromising position because I have kids with me. So I dad 4x4

I'm not "crawling" but I'm definitely offroading

Thank you for the great review

FYI the AllPro Apex sliders will do the same on the rear - bend up since they aren’t tied into the mounting to support them.

Yeah, I got rid of my RCI sliders exactly for that reason. Didn't cover as much as they should have. I had @YamaDirtrider and @Red Baron build me some afterwords

Truck is still under warranty. 5 years old, spent 2 years in FL, has only been in CO for 3 years. Shouldn't be getting frame rust IMO. I wash it every time after it snows too. Y'all think the dealer will do anything?

I don't miss seacoast living with high humidity salt air and what it does to most metals.

    Plethora of "useless" shit
Is that right behind where your shock relocate was burned on? If so I can see the dealer trying to push back. I was actually thinking about this the other day while debating on a shock relocate and figuring I’d need to paint behind there after.
