Those elevations are too low for Colorado. Whereabouts is it?

X3 doesn't look like the bad kind of rust, just some light/superficial surface rust after the heat from welding to the other side compromised the paint... I would Wire brush and rust oleum it :D

Last time I inquired they made it seem like it needed to be unsafe to leave for the warranty process to be considered

That's a fair point, I think it is. Didn't even think about that. I'll have to poke around at it

I got this 36 once sizzling hot bad boy up at Wyoming Chop House in Laramie.

I highly recommend it, it was tender and delicious. Maybe the best steak I've ever had.

Pending if @YamaDirtrider and @Red Baron get their shop set back up, I'd go with them since they're local. If they don't, then @WarFab Armor out on the west slope

Looking at flat fender heeps for sale, because that thought ran thru my head the other day.
Starting around 5k for bad shape basket cases and topping out around 30k or more for fully restored.

I can get a reproduction body, no grill for around 3500 delivered.
Just need a frame and a title, couple axles, might be cool to stuff a 22R and Toyota running gear in it.
    Just bar thoughts.
I never should have sold my 64' CJ6. I had a friend with a 42' original flathead and we'd get drunk as fuck in that thing toolin around in the woods.
It had a problem with the t-case not shifting into 4x4, but it would shift out. Had to bump a tree with the front bumper in order to get it shifted.
    Memories. :burp:

In other news, my Tundra seems to have a parasitic draw on the battery. Fuckin thing was so dead this morning that the radio lost its memory. Hope it starts when I leave the pub.

If I had 15' jumper cables, I could jump start the bitch off the camper battery...

Oh holy shit.. this is the worst thing ever. I had "parasitic draw" on a 1970s jeep. If you have it on a new car... my God, you will never find it. I ended up chasing it all around. Then because it was a cj7 I just lifted the hood and pulled the cable everywhere I parked. Oddly enough the ladies seemed to dig it. But that was like 1995.

Edit: if it happened in one night, you have an actual electric issue. That needs service asap. draw takes days, it's super annoying, but takes days, not one night. That's something else. Are you sure your alternator and battery system are in the green?

My CJ7 fully charged would keep for two or three days If your only getting one day. Your electrical system is nowhere near normal that's with allowing the "vamping" meaning, you don't have a leak, you have a gushing hole
