I too got out for some camping and fridge testing over the weekend.

    PXL_20220513_230504240.jpg

And on the highway, someone pulled along side me and yelled out the window that I was dragging something. So naturally I pulled over at a safe spot and did a walk around the trailer..... Turns out one of the upper shock mounts sheered off the frame and the shock was dragging under the axle. Luckily the shock tabs and a piece of flat stock they were welded to were what actually ripped off the frame and were still connected though the shock bolt, so as it was dragging on the highway, it wasn't grinding down the shock body, but just the mount instead. After a quick survey of the frame I left the shock bolted to the axle and used a bungee to keep the other end from hitting the ground and continued on with the trip. Couldn't even tell it was down a shock for both highway and off road travel :cookiemonster:.

Oh and the fridge did well.

None actually. They weren't technically allowed in the area and don't think they could make the water crossings anyways

Yeah that's what I'll do now. Truck made the 4 hour drive fine without issues. No idea why it went into limp besides water getting in to electronics?

Round 2... been a long break for the Av's but they needed the rest... Kemper should be good now, Landy needed the rest. Makar & MacK will be fine, Rant's & Kadri need to be in this series. Some late starts & expect 20 min later than sced since national TV & finishing the early east coast games.
    GO AV's!

I firgot to mention the propane regulator giving up the ghost over the weekend.
    That was exciting.
I had the thing removed, bottle on the ground, with regulator attached.
Banging the shit out of it with a crescent wrench, cause no hammer.
Took a set of channel locks to the crimped part and proceeded to twist that back and forth, and viola, gas started to spew.
Surprisingly, after I hooked it back up, everything worked. Stove even had a nice blue tip flame.

A new one will be here Wednesday...

This electric fridge has started me down a rabbit hole.
Ended up buying a 100ah RV gel cell battery for cheaper than two group 24 deep cycles.
It was actually a $100 cheaper than the AGM I currently run.
Apparently group 24 deep cycles average between 55ah-70ah.
Gonna have to slide the ass of the camper over, and hopefully have enough room to shoehorn that 60lb bitch in.
    Battery is 6 3/4" wide.
My maximum space if the camper moves enough is a scant 7".
After it clears the bed rail, the camper can be recentered.
