Let me preface with IMO having first hand experience with a spacer lift when I first got my Tacoma. It does not mean that a Toytec spacer lift specifically is going to ride like "crap" just spacer lifts in general will stiffen the ride quite a bit. I went from stock to a 2.5" spacer lift and the increased spring rate was quite stiff. No where near stock anymore. I then went to Toytec adjustable coil overs and the ride is great plus more options and more lift.

Saying the truck will ride "like stock" is a stretch. Dealers have multiple reasons for putting on spacer lifts vs. full suspension lifts. One main one is cost vs. profit.
I agree with it being for the budget minded and more for looks then off road and will say of all of the spacer lifts available the Toytec product the best one...IMO.

You might be able to load some of these overlay transparency trail maps into the in dash unit, that is if it has a card slot or a way of connecting it to the internet. Im going to load a bunch of stuff onto a Micro SD card and put it on my garmin nuvi which is designed as a automobile unit.

Definitely want to hear if this works. I have a 3760T and have the National Forest Maps but sometimes when we are designated trails they still do not show up on the map. So if I could supplement that it would be great.

I wouldn't say we are all fat. But definitely more north. ;)

Colorado Springs has some good trails and they are pretty close to 25 so easy to get to.

Yeah I saw that. iPhone can be tricky, I figured I'd leave it for grins. :).

Yeah gold camp road is awesome for wheeling. You can take it from the spring and wheel it to cripple creek.

faaack.... just had a guy look at my A/C. Looks like I'm gonna have the windows down unless Jace knows something he doesn't. He said it's a $1000 job because the part that is bad is behind the dash and takes all day to get to and replace...

35's for sure and a tundra in the near future if I get the job. The other half said I can get my new car before we get hers and then we will have a trail rig. Have to get the job though. In really hoping it would be great for the family.

Noah, can post a picture of the trimmed section looking up at the truck from underneath, i wanna see the sections you had to cut out. I think i have to cut out the plastic that hangs down just inside the wheel well, its the only thing that rubs and only at full lock and in reverse.
