The old enduro dogs are built different. Graham Jarvis is almost 50, just had knee surgery last year and won Romaniacs last week.

Same thought when we came here from Houston; eight years later still weird. There, a majority are fat bordering on obese - here, it's always a shock to see someone dramatically out of shape. "They must be visiting..."

And so our hero's journey begins.
Air compressor and front diff have arrived. Patiently waiting for my new coilovers and leafpacks to come in.
After the last debacle with the taco I was told my LCA/R&P bushings were too trashed to be aligned. So here we are back to square one but with more bells and whistles.

I had enough captain and coke to get as far as you see now.. and Sawzall blades to make it through one control arm. You already know what kind of fun I'm having.

Side notes. I painted the diff from ECGS to match the rear axle and noticed this big ol chunk missing out the driverside face. Anyone think I should be concerned about it ?

How come nobody tells you, when you camp at Cheyenne mountain park, In. Co. Springs you will hear bugle music multiple times a day? Honestly curious what the different times of day are. The songs were different.

They do bugle at start of day at 0700 and EOB 1700. Begin/end of duty day.
Don't really remember when else it rang.

It's the air force academy. They're pompous. I have no further information I can share on the topic

Cheyenne Mountain Park would be Fort Carson (Army), not the Air Force Academy.

We have a lot of military here.

I also didn't realize you could camp in the park.

Here's a breakdown of the calls you might have heard.

That gouge is from the pry bar used to separate the CV from the diff during disassembly. I've created a few of them myself--those CV can be stubborn.

I don't think you need to be concerned as long as it's not interfering with anything. That shouldn't be a contact surface. If it is interfering, I think it would be fine to just grind it back. That said, you might double-check with the more knowledgable folk in the LT thread... I've only pulled front ends apart, never re-assembled one.

doesn't affect seal fitment, I'd run it

ECGS must not like you :luvya: they painted the 8" thirds I shipped them. Can't remember if they did the clamshell I sent though
