Coyotes were going crazy last night on my property. Took a stroll this morning and found this fawn skull with a few bones around

There was a larger doe skull but looked older

Haven't heard many coyotes lately but seems they've been feastin

Camping. Was nice and chill up there.

    Elk rub.

    it was misty.

splitting wood is hard, somebody should take a nap.

Brown sugar and spice salmon on a cedar plank with coc.

and then the sun came out.

was pretty mesmerizing watching the fog banks roll thru.

kind of but the area is loaded with archery and black powder hunters right now. Much quieter crowd though. I didn't range too far from camp myself since I had the misfortune of wearing a dark brown flannel.

Isn't it the hunters responsibility to know what they are shooting at before they shoot? I'm all for protecting myself by wearing orange, but if I don't take something bright with me because I don't track all of the hunting seasons and zones, that doesn't mean I should have to worry about getting hit by an arrow/bullet...

With the type of dipshit hunters now you'd think they would be responsible enough

It's kind of like having right of way as a pedestrian/cyclist. You can absolutely have right of way and still get run over so being defensive is a safe bet

    I'd run over a cyclist before I'd shoot a hunter :D

    Yep. Even in a car.
You can holler all the way to the hospital about how it was the other guy's fault but you're still going to the hospital.

I just hope they commit if they did. I don't want to have to worry about arguing with my insurance for a year plus after the fact

    .
Let's not confuse "run down", which is intentional, with accident caused by stupidity due to the cyclist not watching for cars, as they should be, regardless of right of way.
