No meet, but we'll get the NoCo guys together sometime soon! Much less eventful then Aurora.

    I have 5100's set at .85... I'm in Windsor.

    @sean266
What is that you are cooking? The famous ceviche you spoke of before or something else delicious? Looks like fish or potatoes or something... I'm intrigued!

I do and replied to your PM. Sorry for the delayed response but now that I'm working full time plus some I find that my time isn't as flexible as it once was. I've got some stuff going on in the morning and then I should have about a day and a half where we could work something out.

I have 5100's all around but TSB out back and fronts set to 1.75" and I love the way it handles and looks. Great upgrade and I would suggest it to anyone.

And that's why I don't go to Six Flags. Fuck 'em.

Really? Look at his eyes man. People who kill innocent people have a certain 'blackness' to their gaze that shows up even in photographs. Like you look into his eyes and see death/evil behind them. It's weird.

I swear that all I've been thinking about all day is how much I wish I had got the date right on opening night for our pre-ordered Dark Knight tickets. I thought it was next Wednesday rather than last night so we've had the wrong Wed night tickets for over a month now. Most people are thankful they weren't there when shit went down and all I can think of is how the total # of victims would have been 1 or 2 including the suspect if my wife and I were there. Some say that firearm control is the answer and personally I think the opposite is the case with plenty of case study to support this stance. The more law abiding citizens who train and carry the less shit like this is able to happen. Simple as that.

My co-workers today said: 'Just imagine if you were there' and then another one said 'You would have been a hero' to which I replied: 'Hell no i wouldn't!' Confused by this response he asked why and my response was that I would have put about 15rds into that douche, scanned for an accomplice and then ducked out one of the exits in the confusion to avoid a possible civil suit for acting according to the law. The media would have been asking the person to step forward and some idiot would have stepped forward to receive the eventual civil suit that is sure to follow. Just like Batman I'm gone like a shadow in the night.

My wife's Ceviche is ah-mazing! [IMG]

...how's that for a single post catching up with what I missed all day? lol

If anyone in the crowd would have shot back at him A. It probably wouldn't have done anything because he had full ballistics gear on. B. the bullets then could hit other innocent people in the pandemonium. C. Ricochet off his armor and hit innocent people. I'm gonna have to side with it would have been to risky of an environment to shoot back at him

I can't pronounce it haha. Spicy sauce and potato. I think a few pages back I asked the wife how to spell it and listed it.
The wife cooks, not me. It never goes well with me lol

Plus if anyone shot back at the guy, in a pitch black theatre filled with smoke/gas and hundreds of innocent people... I'd have to question their decision making abilities and whether or not they are responsible enough to carry a concealed weapon.

That's where sense has to come into play. If you don't have a clear shot, you don't fire. However, if I were facing his back I can say I'd pull the trigger....assuming safe to do so. A distraction, something....help escort people out.

If you had a clear shot of this scumbag you wouldn't have fired? Understandably, his undivided attention would then be solely set on you.

I'll just call it spicy sauce and potato, looks good. At my house I cook more cuz the wife bakes. I would probably look like a world class athlete if she didn't have to make brownies and stuff almost daily. And before you guys say "you don't have to eat them" you have to come see what's its like trying to resist day in and day out.

I think that's more of a classic "seeing what you want to see" case.

If you saw one of his photos, prior to this incident, and underneath it said something like "med student" I highly doubt your reaction would be, "he looks like a stone cold serial killer to me"

    That's exactly my point.

In a dark theatre filled with smoke/gas and frantically scrambling people, there is no "clear shot" IMO

    This ^ of course.

If his back was somehow turn towards me and there was no one in between us and I could pull the trigger next to his head... of course I'd do it.

But the reality of that happening is probably very slim.
