I mean they pretty much did lol... I wasn't aware how they were doing it, now with 1.7 million views on just that channel I bet there will be uptick thefts again. Time to get the club! Or bait cars... but Denver basically welcomes criminality so don't see that happening

Anyone here good with repairing ratchets (hand tool)?

I bought a KTC BRSW3L and used it for the first time yesterday. It completely seized when the first bit of torque was applied. So I loosened up the screw to see if that would help disengage the pawl. No go.

So I removed the screw and direction/backing plate to look at the mechanism. It looks pretty simple, so I put it back together. Still nothing. If I find that sweet spot of tightening/loosening the screw the pawl just skips across the teeth on the head.

I'm at a loss. Wondering if there's anyone who can help get this thing back in order.

Spent Monday in Laramie.
Way cheaper booze, the roads are phenomenal.
The camper drove/road like a Cadillac, didn't even pull to the right.
Hit Colorado roads and was instantly fighting for control.

 

Go more north and east into Wyo. Roads quickly turn to doodoo.

 

Roads. Stink'n roads. No one need roads. Roads are deserved and a right we paid for with our taxes. Yah, right.
Our roads suck. All of our surrounding States have better roads.

 

Don't most of us have trucks? I don't notice much crappy roads since I have suspension and tires that can handle anything outside of completely ice rink perfectly smooth…

Unless you have a hover craft or drive around at 5 PSI, you notice. And it's worse in the Tundra, and before that the Tacoma than it is in my car. Especially with an empty bed

 

I guess my comparison is when I drive my partners Subaru with stiff suspension and I get thrown all over the place and my internal organs get rattled around… compared to that, my truck is floating over everything.

 

Is this their subaru?

 

Colorado roads be like

 

My Tacoma is the best on every surface.
My wife’s ‘00 TJ is more cushy with 4 coils and 5100 Bilstien, though less controlled damping, and the short wheelbase is twitchier at speed.
My ‘85 GMC K3500SRW is planted though not comfortable when it gets rough at speed.
My ‘82 Golf GTI 1600 is dialed on hard smooth stuff with not a lot of wheel travel.

 

Got any pics of the Golf and GMC? I'm hoping I can find an 80s GMC just to have as a beater around my property and quick trips to town
