Someone should set up an overlanding accessories rent to own service

I have a delivery coming from Phoenix, Arizona,(881 miles away) that will be here tomorrow, order was placed on Friday.
And another package from Kansas City, Kansas, (657 miles away) that will be here Tuesday, order was placed on Wednesday.
I just don't understand shipping logistics.

 

Bezos overnighted me UPS from Michigan two $4 bottles of refill hand soap & a jigger... arrived 2nd day i bought it. Went to mix my first vodka, 7-up & cranberry of the day yesterday with that jigger, my hand was shaking so bad i just spilled vodka on the counter. Thought the jigger would help me with control and it turned out to be the opposite. But yeah back to it, no idea on how or why shit ships the way it does for these companies.

 

If I had a book recommendation I’d post it, but y’all hated my last book club recommendation.

That reminds me of an interaction I had years ago. I toured a commerical 3d printing place before it was really taking off and asked one of the guys what the coolest thing he had made was. He chuckled and said "it would be inappropriate to tell you" ok bro make something up to be polite lmao

 

My package from Phoenix is now in Kentucky, but still says delivery by today.

they will deliver it - just to someone else! none of them care who it gets delivered to as long as it gets delivered. Job completed! UPS, FedEx, ... all in a rush - drive like idiots and can't read a label or address.
