Anyone around here do any bikepacking? Needing to buy a saddle bag and looking at the Revelate Designs Spinelock 16L. Thoughts or opinions on saddle bags welcome!

 

I have one of the original Revelate rear bags.
Have a brand new Revelate handlebar bag roll to sell.

main thing is to start setting aside your gear and think about where and how you want to pack it to carry on the bike. Then remember you probably don’t have bottle cages anymore with a frame bag…

 

What roll are you selling?

Was thinking about the water bottle problem, the only one left will be on the bottom of the downtube so the rest of the water is going to have to go on forks, back, etc. Kind of a bear since its for the white rim where there's basically no water along the route.

 

Oh yeah, no water on White Rim. You could easily ride a gravel or cross bike on almost all of it. There’s one nasty climb, but otherwise the route isn’t bad super technical, just long.

Is TW struggling on anyone else's phone or just mine? Been the last couple of days.

 

While selected position is 4wd and light is flashing try and spin the front driveshaft. Typical failure is the 4wd actuator on the front differential if the shaft doesn't spin by hand. Shifting order of operation is transfer case the front differential. If the front driveshaft spins free then the vehicle never attempted the shift and you failure points to a transfer case issue.

If it is your actuator on the diff, I have one with around 115k on it you can have. It was working when it came off my truck.

I gonna try and struggle through this issue at least im not locked in 4hi or low

 

That's way cheaper than the one I bought from Rock Solid Toys although mine was fully rebuilt.
Those are still the same price if not cheaper than a new OEM electronic actuator.

 

I miss the days of my 95 with manual shift and hubs.
So straight forward
