i forgot to add he did put his shit and someone elses shit ( thats what he claimed) in the can.

It was kind of funny cuz he called me a

Last time I did that was in 2003 when we were in the severe drought. Pretty sure the Hayman fire was still dumping smoke into the Boulder Valley. Was stopped at a red light right behind my house, which is right next to the open space that borders my house/neighborhood. The open space was a dry tinderbox. Dude in front of me chucked the butt of his cigarette out the window, still lit.

I was pissed. So I got out of my car picked up the light butt, knocked on his window and when he rolled it down I flung it into his cabin. Then walked back to my car.

I still regret that decision. Had the dude flipped out with a gun I wouldn't be around and nor would my daughter.

 

Looks like the Land Cruiser camper project was cancelled. No more square-tubing frame on the back.

 

There's one on Marketplace for $400 in "Southern Colorado".

Yeah, that's a tough spot. If you need other parts too, you might be better off looking for truck at a copart auction and then parting out the remainder. Still some risk involved, but at least you have a chance of starting up the donor before tearing into your own truck.

 

Donor truck would 10/10 be the move. Probably recoup some of the cost with part out

That thing would have been better off as a trailer build. That poor truck. Wonder what they pull with the hitch? And is the hitch part of the truck or the camper?

Must be. Looks like it was added on to a few times. Smooth aluminum sheeting then diamond plate sheeting, so many seams. Plus the slide out.

 

Him and @Red Baron are staying busy with fabrication. I know Josh was talking about getting a coilover compressor setup though.
