Just trying to class the joint up a bit. I'll be picking your brain on a lift after I get the landscaping done.

That’s just 1 gallon. I got 10 more delivered today. I’m rolling the primer since it’s oil-based. I’ll use the sprayer when I paint the color. Cleaning oil-based out of the sprayer looks like too much of a pain in the ass.

I broke my truck this weekend, and am starting here for where to begin on diagnosing. Driveline issues are not my forte...

2015 V6 AT, 100k miles, 33's, stock gears, no locker.

Going up ledges in 4lo, truck started bouncing trying to get up, then snap crackle pop. I thought it was just my driveshaft hitting a rock, it was not.

When trying to go back to 2hi I can hear the motor trying, and a little clicking noise, but it's stuck in 4hi. No power to the rear wheels. I left it in 4hi and was able to drive out and home with fwd about 30 minutes and kept it under 40. Sometimes crackling noise when slowing to a stop and getting going again, sometimes not. Getting very heavy bangs from under the driver seat when turning at all, even in the sand. No fluid appears to be leaking anywhere.

Looking for where to start diagnosing, or a good shop in Grand Junction I can limp it over too.

Almost certainly your rear diff/ring and pinion.

If you're in a hurry, I would call ECGS and have them overnight you a 3rd member. You can swap it in an hour or two. Add a locker while you're at it! :D

Edit - pull the plug to confirm, I bet a few teeth come with it.

That would actually be favorable if that's what broke. Yup, might just be time to cough up for re-gear and lockers now too...

Traveling for work now, I'll have to pull the plug when I'm back on Thursday.

If that is the problem, you risk causing more damage or locking up the rear wheels driving like that. Pulling the ring gear and driveshaft out would be the only way to safely drive in FWD.

I wish I had more time to hang out on my drive back through next weekend. I could ride bikes with you and @RtacomaN and then help you take a look at the truck.
