More severe because am not sure I found the cause. The flashing still looks good. I sealed a gap where some water could accumulate, caulked, and painted.

The upcoming afternoon rain should test it out.

Lawn is mowed, weeds are pulled. Now its time for a beer with my miller moth friends … and the dog.

Are you not familiar with how these things work?
$5000 will be spent eliminating the gate keeper on your favorite trail and the rest will be misappropriated.

Captured a dozen Miller moths in the house last night and set them free outside.
Today my wife texted me this, which made me laugh:

Spring along the Front Range means "Miller Time." For many of us, the Miller Moths are a nuisance, but for our environment they play an important role, such as:
    1. Food for migrating and nesting birds.
    2. Toys for your cat(s).
    3. Food for small and large mammals - Did you know...Grizzly bears rely on moths due to their high fat and protein.
    4. Help build your eye-hand coordination as you attempt to get them out of your home.
    5. Pollinators for crops and other plants.
These "pests" will be out of of here soon and you will reap the benefits of their migration through our state.

I've tried, but then 20 more come in. Lately the doggo has been faster than me so she's getting some snacks. I think she's burning it all off chasing them

Just captured about 20 myself. Our house is old as sin and I'm sure it has gaps in it that I'm aware of. Heck there's some soffit that I need to patch up but I can't for the life of me figure out how the heck so many get in at dusk, damn demons I swear they're spawning upstairs as I type this.

As long as it's set up in a wide open sand covered area the size of a softball field, there should be no problem with that 72" flame shooting out in whatever direction the wind blows it.

    Plumbing question

The hard copper line comes out of the basement to the back flow device. Makes a 90 degree turn down, then there is a metal coupler with some type of plastic gasket/ring sealing that coupler around each copper pipe. Goes into box for irrigation.

the gasket at the bottom is leaking.

what’s the best way to seal this up as a renter who doesn’t want to deal with passing the full plumbing cost to the landlord?

Thanks! That looks exactly what is on there. I wasn’t sure the anatomy/terminology for those parts, so this gets me oriented and moving along to see what the next issue I uncover is… I’m guessing it’s both a poorly prepared/deburred pipe and the fact that the two pipes don’t align well.
